Legacy of Odiil, a quest mod.
This mod introduces a new sword, Flamerend (Sister sword to Chillrend, a sword in Oblivion and Skyrim), as well as a quest to find an old man's inheritance. This quest requires your mind more than your blade, but both will be tested as you travel the land searching for Odiil's Legacy. In order to start this quest, speak to any character in Dagon Fel about "latest rumors". From there, you will be directed to the first quest.

The features of this mod include:
♦ A new, beautiful unique sword based on Oblivion's Glass Shortswords, complete with normal mapping and specular mapping (intended for use with Open Morrowind). As well, a gold reward.
♦ A riddle-based quest that takes you throughout Vvardenfell.
♦ A new animation.
♦ A backstory to Chillrend, and how it came into being. As well, an explaination of how Chillrend is now owned by Valus Odiil.
♦ A small dungeon.

Extra Note: There is a minor glitch with Odiil's animation. He can be killed, but he is nearly impossible to hit with a sword due to his animation state. Spells will still kill him as per normal, should you choose to kill him. We apologise for this bug in our mod, but we comprimised that the mod would still be better off with Odiil's "hunched over old man" animation.
Extra Note: I will not be spoiling the answers to the riddles here. That would defeat the purpose of 90% of the mod. Instead, if you wish to cheat your way through this mod, you may do so simply by looking up the information in the Construction Set. Otherwise, you will need to rely on your mind to carry you through this.
