📋 About This Mod
This mod adds left and right icons to appropriate classified bracers, gauntlets, and pauldrons for Morrowind, including the Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansions. There are already mods for this but I decided to release my personal one, as I plan to build of this base as an expansion for other mods I will expand or release. Future plans may include left & right ground meshes (Alaisiagae\'s mod already has this so feel free to try that one as these are just icons), making add-ons for armor compilation mods, etc.. I also felt I needed to release this independent module because I have plans on to really work on my Item compilation mod and armor and weapon overhaul as I will be including this little module I made here. Morrowind Tribunal Bloodmoon Left and Right Icons for all Bracers, Gauntlets, and Pauldrons in Morrowind, and the Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansions. Earlier mods that also inspired me to start my own project: Lurlock\'s Mod: Here Alaisiagae\'s Mod: Here
This Morrowind mod adds left and right inventory icons for bracers, gauntlets, and pauldrons, covering the base game and both expansions. It's a small, focused cosmetic fix for players who want better visual distinction in their inventory. With 64 endorsements and last updated in 2013, it's a niche but functional utility.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Fills a real gap—Morrowind's default icons don't distinguish left from right, so this is a nice QoL touch.
- Covers all three armor slots and both expansions, so it's a complete package for the base game.
- Tiny download and simple install—just drop the files in and you're done.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2013—might not be tested with newer mod setups or OpenMW.
- Only 64 endorsements, so it's a niche mod with a small following.
- No screenshots or detailed instructions in the description, so you're flying blind on what exactly changes.
For Morrowind players who are tired of squinting at identical icons for left and right armor pieces. If you're a completionist or just want a cleaner inventory, this is a quick fix. Skip if you're looking for gameplay changes—this is purely cosmetic.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a simple texture replacer, just extract the files into your Morrowind Data Files folder—no mod manager needed.
- If you use OpenMW, this should work fine, but it's from 2013 so test it with your setup.
- Make sure to load this mod after any other mods that change armor icons to avoid conflicts.
