📋 About This Mod
Hello non-existent people who aren't looking at this and probably never will! This mod quite simply increases the maximum enchantment sizes on all staves, some more drastically than others.
Ah yes, wizards with their robes and magical staves that hold the power to: Light cigarettes, grab items three feet away from you, GIVE YOU THE ARMOR OF THE GODS (for two seconds), and spray some disinfectant on a paper cut. FEAR THE ALMIGHTY WIZARDS! But seriously, staves are supposed to be powerful weapons that hold powerful enchantments. Why, therefore, can most of them (excluding ebony and daedric) only hold such weak enchantments? The hell Bethesda? Sure, you can find staves that have good enchantments, but I've always hated not being able to replicate the power of items I've found in my adventures, as it suggests that I AM NOT THE SUPREME OVERLORD OF ALL! So, I have made this. Now you can enchant staves with some half-decent magic. The higher value the staff, the stronger enchantment it can hold. This took like five minutes to make, so I apologize if your computer (or toaster) implodes upon download. That being said, please enjoy. (Seriously, please do, or else I get put back in the box.) PLEASE! NOT THE BOX! NOT THE BOOOOOOOOX!
Increases the enchantment levels of staves in Skyrim, allowing for stronger enchantments. A simple gameplay tweak for players who want more powerful staff magic. With 76 endorsements and last updated in 2015, it's a niche mod that may not be compatible with the latest game version.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Directly addresses a common gripe—staff enchantments feel weak, and this mod fixes that.
- Lightweight and focused; does exactly what it says without bloat.
- Decent community support (76 endorsements) for a niche tweak.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2015—likely incompatible with the current Skyrim version (Special Edition or Anniversary Edition).
- No detailed instructions or compatibility notes provided by the author.
- Only affects staves; if you're looking for broader magic overhauls, this won't cut it.
For Skyrim players who love using staves but feel they fall off late-game. If you want a quick, no-fuss buff to staff enchantments without overhauling the magic system, this is for you. Skip if you're on Special Edition or want more comprehensive magic changes.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're on Skyrim Special Edition, this mod may not work—check for a port or use a similar mod from the SE Nexus.
- Make sure to place the mod in your load order after any mods that alter staff enchantments to avoid conflicts.
- Test with a staff that has a weak enchantment to see the difference immediately.
