📋 About This Mod
The mod tries to finish/complete the salve markets implementation.
What is there to fix/improve?
- There are 4 slave markets in Morrowind, but only one where you can buy the slaves
- Some slave masters have the appropriate key in their inventory, some not
- Even if you manage to get the key, you can’t free the slaves
- Even if you manage to get the key and free the slaves, the slave masters don’t care
- You can’t sell the slaves
What’s changed?
- Every slave market is now functional, and you can buy the slaves they have
- Diversified the prices: argonians and khajiits cost 1k as in vanilla, other races a bit more
- Every slave master now has its appropriate key
- Freeing the slaves without having purchased them beforehand will make the slave masters hostile
- You can now sell the slaves, for 500 drakes each
A change that’s a bit less no-frills is that slaves now have a more complex script attached to them, based on gumpy’s companion script.
Without a more complex scripting behind them, the slaves are worthless as companions, and I’d say even annoying due to how the follower system works.
One caveat: this is only compatible with Beautiful Cities of Morrowind/Tel Aruhn Chronicles as it's based on the expanded salve market in Tel Aruhn.
Wouldn’t take much effort to make a version that's independent from either of those, but I’m personally not interested in working on something I’m not going to use myself.
Patches: as this edits some rent scripts, it needs a patch if using Improved Inns Expanded, so there’s patches for that.
Load order: goes after BCoM/Tel Aruhn Chronicles and the patches need to load after Improved Inns Expanded.
Cicero and Apopase, since I took inspiration from Live Free and Cutting Room Floor

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Niche but dedicated following (90 endorsements, ~2k downloads).
- Fills a gap for players who want more depth in slave market mechanics.
- Last updated in 2022, so it's relatively recent for a niche mod.
⚠️ Cons
- May be incompatible with current game versions since it hasn't been updated since early 2022.
- Limited scope—only addresses slave markets, not broader gameplay changes.
For players who want to expand the slave market mechanics in their game, especially those focused on immersion and roleplay. If you're looking for a comprehensive overhaul, this might be too narrow. Skip if you prefer vanilla or don't engage with slavery mechanics.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Check the mod's page for any compatibility notes with other immersion mods.
- Since it's a small mod, manually placing files in the Data folder should work, but using a mod manager is safer.
- If you're on a version newer than 2022, test the mod early to ensure it doesn't cause crashes.
