📋 About This Mod
Part of the May Modathon Month 2019
"For Jiub's Sake" seeks to keep Better Heads more lore friendly with the vanilla game by making one dunmer male face texture have the scar on the same eye as vanilla, if only for Jiub's sake (see what I did there?).

1. DESCRIPTION
===============
If you, like me, first started Morrowind completely vanilla, and then added texture mods – such as Better Heads – you probably noticed that when BH Jiub greeted you at the start of the game he looked different.
Jiub has a scar on his right eye, but Better Heads puts it on the left!
This bothered me, so I fixed it. Coz lore/immersion.
Now you can enjoy a more lore-friendly and immersive experience in Morrowind, all for Jiub's sake!
===============
2. Requirements
===============
Better Heads.
========================
3. INSTALLING THE TEXTURE
========================
Extract to Data Files. Allow the file to overwrite.

5. CONFLICTS / KNOWN ERRORS
============================
None – it's a texture file.

A small cosmetic fix for Morrowind that corrects the placement of the male Dunmer eye scar to match vanilla. With 80 endorsements and last updated in 2019, it's a niche utility for players who notice the misalignment. Simple and focused, it does one thing well.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Fixes an annoying visual bug that purists will appreciate
- Tiny download and install, no bloat
- Community-tested with 80 endorsements
⚠️ Cons
- Only addresses one specific issue—if you don't play male Dunmer, this is useless
- Last updated in 2019, so may not be compatible with newer Morrowind versions or mods
- No detailed instructions or screenshots provided by the author
For Morrowind players who are sticklers for vanilla accuracy and notice the misplaced eye scar on male Dunmer. Skip if you don't play that race or use overhaul mods that might already fix this.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using a mod manager like Wrye Mash or Mod Organizer 2, just drop the mod in and activate it—no load order tweaks needed.
- This mod only affects male Dunmer, so test with a new character or console command to see the fix immediately.
- Since it's a simple mesh/texture replacement, it won't conflict with most mods unless they also alter the same head part.
