📋 About This Mod
main file makes every amulet, belt, glove, pant, ring, robe, shirt, shoes and skirt have their max enchant value, taken from exquisite or extravagant pieces if they don't have an exquisite option.
optional file is only for robes!
credit to Visible Clothing Has Max Enchant Value and All Clothes Exquisite Enchant Capacity for the idea.
i did not use either of these mods as a base, i created this myself by checking what the exquisite robe enchantment value was, and applying that to every other robes, and expanded from there.
i was searching for a mod that made it viable to wear any robe in the game for aesthetic, fashion and roleplay reasons and not be gimped on enchant value. there were already these two great options, but i wanted one that covered TR_Data and OAAB_Data as well, and decided to use this as an opportunity to take my first dive into the Construction Set and make my first mod!
the full version pairs well with Vanity as you'll be able to wear whatever amulet and rings you want and still get the best enchantment value out of them!
please let me know if i missed anything or made a mistake anywhere!!
This Morrowind mod boosts the enchant value of every clothing item across the base game, Tribunal, Bloodmoon, TR_Data, and OAAB_Data to Exquisite or Extravagant levels. It's a simple quality-of-life tweak for players who want more powerful enchantments on their gear. With 15 endorsements and 362 downloads, it's a niche but functional addition.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Makes enchanting clothes actually viable—no more wasted potential on low-value gear.
- Works with major mod data like TR and OAAB, so it's useful for big modded playthroughs.
- Lightweight and straightforward—no complex scripts or dependencies.
⚠️ Cons
- Only 15 endorsements—small user base, so less community testing.
- Last updated in March 2023—might not be compatible with the latest Morrowind modding tools or patches.
- Only affects clothing, not armor—so if you wanted enchanted armor, this won't help.
For Morrowind players who love enchanting and want to make their robes and shirts actually worth the soul gems. Also great for modded setups with Tamriel Rebuilt or OAAB. Skip if you're fine with vanilla enchant values or prefer gameplay overhauls.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have the Morrowind Code Patch or OpenMW for best compatibility with modded data files.
- If you use Tamriel Rebuilt or OAAB, install this mod after those mods to ensure it overwrites correctly.
- Test in a new game or after loading a save with no active enchantments to avoid conflicts.
