📋 About This Mod
So as some of you may know, installing Bloodmoon causes any creature without a soundgen assigned to default to the werewolf sounds. Turns out these aren't actually needed and can safely be deleted since the actual ingame werewolves all use the voice dialog instead of a soundgen to make their noise. Only the unused creature version of the werewolf actually uses this soundgen as far as I know.
Now any creature without assigned sounds SHOULD default to the default creature soundgen (which is a duplicate of the Alit's sounds) with this patch.
Also downloadable is an alernative version which replaces the default sounds with the cat noises included in the Kagouti's sound folder. (because I thought it was funny)
So what causes this issue? Well when Bloodmoon added the werewolf sounds to the sounds list, they put them above the Default creature soundgen sounds. So the game automatically uses them as a result. Similar things have happened with mods as well. Notably, "If Wishes Were Horses", "Wizard Islands", and the "Horror mod". This problem stems from this issue.
There are actually two ways to fix this, I probably could have chose the less destructive path which would be to move the sounds below the default ones on the list. Instead, I decided to do this as it was far less time consuming and the sounds aren't actually needed by the game either since the only werewolf that uses them isn't even accessible by normal means. If someone wants the less destructive alternative, I can upload it for them as it only takes a few seconds longer to fix. (an easy fix really).
