📋 About This Mod
Update 8/30/22
Final version of this mod uploaded. There are now five translated versions available.
1. Description
Several races in Morrowind/Oblivion have in-game measurements that are inconsistent with written lore, for example it's mentioned that Bretons are the shortest of the human races but in both games they are the same height as the Imperials. Or that in more recent Elder Scrolls media Orsimer are shown to be the second tallest race after Altmer but in Morrowind Orcs are shorter than Nords and in Oblivion they are the same height.
Along with this certain races are unrealistically sized such as the male Redguards who are shown to be much smaller than both Orsimer and Nords despite them having higher strength than the Orcs and being on equal strength with the Nords.
So this mod corrects these discrepancies by changing racial sizes and stats while still keeping them lore friendly and balanced. For any race that I've lowered an attribute I've also raised another attribute to even the numbers out.
Along with this I've given the males of each individual race wider body frames than the females to make their builds more realistic. The extent of this varies depending on the specific race and the game's vanilla attribute points.
For those who like the new race sizes but want to keep the vanilla racial attributes I've added an optional file. I've also made a version of this mod for Oblivion.
Another of my mods "Improved Racial Descriptions and Elven Lore Names (Morrowind)" coincides with CRHS&A and has additional plugins which merge the two mods together. The mod improves the grammar structure of all the racial descriptions and changes all the elven race names to their lore names (e.g. High Elfs are listed as Altmer).
2. Installation
Drop one of the ESP files in your Morrowind "Data Files" folder or install it via Wyre Mash then activate it.
3. Compatibility
Will be incompatible with any mods that alter the "Race" tab in the construction set.
The formula I used to determine the changes:
Males have 0. 05 higher weight than females:
Example: Altmer males and females share the same strength value of 30 so males are set at 1. 05 weight and females are set to 1. 00 weight.
0. 05 weight for every 5 points of Strength value:
Example: Redguard males have a strength valu
