Companion Teleportation v1. 0. 1 (OpenMW)
Author: Severus3107
Description
With this mod, you'll never lose your companions again. The mod works with any companions, including those from mods. When you teleport (using spells, scripts, or console commands), your companions will teleport with you. If you move too far away from a companion, they will teleport back to you. The mod also adds a "Companion Teleportation" spell, allowing you to summon all your companions at any time. If you have removed this spell, simply save and load the game, or use the command "Player -> AddSpell companionTeleportation_spell".
You can use the command "StartScript companionTeleportation_test" to test this mod after installation. This command will take you to "Mournhold, Royal Palace: Courtyard", add various teleportation spells to you, set your Willpower and Intelligence to 1000, and add 100,000 gold to your inventory. Use the services of the mercenary Calvus Horatius.
For localizers
By default, the mod has Russian and English localizations. It is recommended to use the Russian localization as a basis for translations.
Below is a list of texts that require localization:

Then, in the OpenMW launcher, check the boxes next to all three files.
Update
Move the same files as when installing the mod. Confirm the replacement.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solves a classic Morrowind annoyance—no more losing followers to teleportation.
- Works with modded companions, so it's flexible for any playthrough.
- Lightweight utility with 30 endorsements and 692 downloads from a niche audience.
⚠️ Cons
- Only 30 endorsements—small user base, so less community testing.
- Last updated Feb 2026—may not be actively maintained for future OpenMW changes.
For Morrowind players who use teleportation spells or console commands and hate tracking down lost companions. Essential if you run companion mods and want them to stick with you. Skip if you rarely teleport or don't use followers.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's OpenMW-specific, make sure you're using OpenMW, not the original Morrowind engine.
- Test with a save before relying on it—teleport via console command to confirm companions follow.
- If you use modded companions, check that they're recognized by the mod's script (most should be).
