📋 About This Mod

The mod goal is to add variations of glass items in both the base game and Tamriel Rebuilt content, and to integrate new items with the game properly. I didn't want to make a shop selling all this new gear, because I think it takes away the fun of exploring and collecting stuff, which is for me one of the best parts of the game.

I didn't want to implement items as a stuff you can buy in a random shop or random place, because it feels artificial and in my opinion takes away typical Morrowind fun of exploring and looting whatever comes into your hands - if you get the new stuff instantly, you quickly lose interest with it, because you've accomplished your goal - if there is a premise of new sets lying around to be collected somewhere in the world, you have more things to do and more excuses to stroll again through beautiful world of either Vvardenfell or Mainland from TR. At least that's how it works for me lol.

Alternatively, if you disagree I've also added a separate optional mod file, where all glass items can be bought from a merchant in a rather remote location - a small island south from Dagon Fel, near Rotheran dunmer fortress. I had some fun decorating his home - the guy's name is Ireoth Arano.

Colored Glass items are added to random loot tables where regular Glass items could be found / randomly generated. This includes Golden Saints - there is a chance for them to drop both colored glass shields and weaponry.

I don't want to spoil locations of manually placed colored glass items, but those are evenly spread out throughout Vvardenfell besides Bitter Coast. I treat Bitter Coast line of Seyda Neen - Balmora - Caldera as this early game zone where a lot of players tend go to / spend their time on low levels. Also a border between Ascadian Isles and Azura's Coast is empty.

Ashlands, Telvanni settlements, Dwemer ruins and Daedric shrines are places where you tend to find colored glass items. Also areas connected to the Sixth House and spots where in vanilla game you could get access to glass items are worth checking out. It's important to note that Golden Saints will always have a chance of dropping random colored glass weapons or shields, so areas where Saints are plentiful are good spots to get the gear.

Lastly, there are minor merchants spread here and there, having one or two new glass items in their stock - no rule or theme here, it's added to provide this nice suprise when you browse goods and suddenly bump into something rare and spicy.

Less commonly, you can find an NPC using new glass weapons or armor, those however are almost exclusively NPCs that used to have glass gear in vanilla game. Most of those still use their classic green glass, but I've thrown a couple recolors here and there, where it felt apropriate.

I'm giving a list of all item locations below if you want to hunt for a particular set, but I strongly recomend not spoiling the fun - just
