📋 About This Mod
This is the first sword in my 'Requiem' sword resource. The opening sword is 'Requiem' itself, a two handed longsword with dragon detail and partial reflect maps. Unenchantable, but quite unique.
Included are all stages of scabbard, full, drawn, ground full, ground empty. A scabbard is also included for 1 handed use, ie it's optimised for the 1 hand animation when strapped to the back.
A self sheathing script is included in a demonstration plugin. Requiem is also available as a one hander in the plugin.
The swords can be found in the upper level of the Prelude shipwreck which is East of Bal Fel.
Once again, this is a sample plugin, the stats can be changed as can the clothing part that the scabbards use.
More details in the read me.
Many thanks and gratitude to all on the Bethesda Forums, in particular Great Green, Quid Pro Quo, Inwah and Vagabond Angel.
Clean Requiem Sword resource part1 adds a unique two-handed longsword called 'Requiem' with dragon detail and partial reflect maps. The sword is unenchantable and comes with all stages of scabbard. A compact resource mod from 2008 with modest community support.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons

- Includes scabbard stages for added realism
- Lightweight resource mod with 1,515 downloads
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2008 — likely incompatible with modern game versions
- Unenchantable sword limits gameplay customization
For Oblivion players who want a visually distinct two-handed sword without gameplay changes. Perfect for collectors of weapon resources or roleplayers seeking a unique blade. Skip if you need enchantable weapons or modern compatibility.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since this is a resource mod, you may need to add the sword to the game via console or a mod that spawns it — check the mod's file structure for the item ID.
- If you're using a mod manager like OBMM, you can install this as a simple archive; otherwise, manually place the meshes and textures into your Data folder.
- Given the 2008 date, test this mod on a clean save to avoid conflicts with newer mods.
