Choice and Consequence - Shady Orcs of Caldera

About this Mod:

This mod adds several new branches and tweaks to the "Favors for Orcs" quest in Caldera.

• []Player can now report Bugrol gro-Bagul's location to the Caldera guards for a small bounty.

  []Player can attempt to arrest Bugrol him/herself if in the Imperial Legion.

  []Bugrol and Bashuk are generally friendlier to an Orc player character.

  []Orc players also have the option of picking up where Bugrol left off and collecting Valvius's debt for Irgola, expanding on existing environmental details.

  []This diversion with Irgola also offers a few options: intimidate Valvius for his money, sweet talk his money out of him, scoff at his threats to call the guards if you are in the Imperial Legion, or kill him and earn the eternal ire of Irgola.

  []Other small tweaks, including the ability to accept (and decline again) Bugrol's request if declined the first time, Bugrol disappearing after the quest completes, and a more neutral journal that does away with the disdain.

  This mod has been tested and cleaned with tes3cmd. That said, I'm still fairly new to modding, so let me know if you encounter any bugs or anything.

  About the "Choice and Consequence" Mod Series:

  Vanilla Morrowind quests generally offer less choice, and less consequence for choices made, than mod projects such as Tamriel Rebuilt and Project Tamriel-affiliated mods, not to mention the later Elder Scrolls and Fallout games. The result for me is that despite a desire to go back to the TES3 vision of Tamriel, it's hard to go back to Vvardenfell's quests without wondering what could be. What if I could approach this quest in another way or side with someone else? What if NPCs reacted more to my actions, or my factions gave me exclusive options?

  Well, why wonder? I've always wanted to learn the Construction Set and what goes into crafting RPG content, so here we are. This series is an attempt to systematically go through the vanilla game's side quests, and give them some lore-friendly vanilla-plus-style expansions.

  There are other mods out there that tweak vanilla content, but I haven't seen any attempts to comprehensively go through everything. I can't claim for sure I will either, but I will until I get bored at least. I still have plenty to learn after all.
