📋 About This Mod
# Can't Touch This: OpenMW Lua Combat Feedback
This is "miss feedback" feature of N'Garde extracted for people that prefer vanilla combat and/or don't care about the parry/active block.
Do not use both mods at the same time, N'Garde fully incorporates everything this mod possibly has to offer.
# Why does this exist?
Because lack of combat feedback from enemy actors is the #1 most common complaint about Morrowind combat.
But, I like vanilla hit-chance mechanics - they offer another balance lever to developers to tune combat, and hence save Morrowind from the wet-noodle-weapon syndrome of later TES games.
Why was this separated from the main mod? Because I acknowledge that there are players out there that do not want to mess with parrying, active blocking and anything that entails.
Adding a setting to the mod that would disable core functionality seemed silly. Hence this.
At this time mod includes 11 miss-dodge "bob and weave" animations that will play when your attack misses on a Humanoid Target.
Range of actors covered may be expanded in the future.
Again - use one or the other. One day I may revisit this and interop them a bit, so I don't have to duplicate the code, but that day is not today. If you already have N'Garde installed - move along. If you don't because you dislike what its core has to offer - this one is for you.
Hope you enjoy.
