📋 About This Mod

What it does

With the power of Lua, we give slashing, piercing and bludgeoning damage to all weapons in the game based on the swing, as well as handpicked unique weapons according to the mesh. Includes Morrowind, Bloodmoon, and Tribunal creatures, as well as Tamriel Rebuilt, Project Tamriel, and OAAB creatures!

Also, material matters, use the right weapon for the job and enjoy a 50% damage bonus:

  • []Silver is more effective to undead and lycanthropes.[/]

[]Dwemer weapons are more effective against dwemer constructs.[/]

[]Dreugh and Maormer weapons are more effective against aquatic creatures.[/]

[]Ashlander Glass is more effective against 6th House creatures.[/]

[]Templar weapons are more effective against Daedra.[/]

Using the same amazing powers, we give weaknesses that make sense to most creatures in the game :D

I'd prefer if X creature/weapon had different modifiers:

And, if you don't agree with our categorization, you can make your own! simply edit the csv files, and see what feels good!

Here you can see our current dev table: Dev table - and I guess also readme?

How will I know if it is working?

Well, damage for one, but you will also know when an attack is more effective or less thanks to an additional crosshair: it will turn red when it is effective, and blue when it is not.

    Compatibility:

Everything and anything (except openMW - Sosnoviy is making the equivalent mod for openMW), thanks to Lua. For mod authors: the creatures, weapons, and materials table are exposed in the interop, if you'd like to add/remove/modify any item in them.

The following mods are accounted for by default:

    • []Tamriel Rebuilt Data[/]

      []Project Cyrodiil[/]

      []Skyrim Home of the Nords[/]

      []OAAB Data[/]

      []Weapons Expansion Project[/]

      []An Issue Of Thrust[/]

      []Bantam Guars[/]

      []Dwarven creatures[/]

[]Westly Presents Unique Corprus Stalkers - Fixed[/]

[]Vanilla friendly creatures and undeads expansion[/]

[]Greymarch Dawn - Whispers of Jyggalag[/]

[]Synthesis Series - Creatures and Diseases[/]

      []Skylamps[/]

      []R-Zero's Creatorium Part 1 - Waters and Shores[/]

      []Standalone Westly Presents Aureals[/]

      []Undead Glass Berserker[/]

      Soft requirements:

Player enchanted weapons change the base object ID. If you install Consistent Enchanting, this mod will attempt to access the itemData and everything will just work :D.

      Known issues:

For the creatures that are not included, the system will just assume that they have no weaknesses or vulnerabilities for this mod. We are working on an automatic classificator, but having this

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Fresh take on Morrowind combat with damage types that add depth.
  • Creature resistances are hand-screened, so they feel appropriate.
  • Small but active community (22 endorsements) and recent update (April 2026).

⚠️ Cons

  • Low endorsement count (22) means it's a niche mod with limited testing.
  • Requires MWSE, so you'll need to set up the script extender first.
  • Description is cut off, so you may need to check the mod page for full details.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Morrowind veterans who want more tactical combat and are tired of every weapon feeling the same. If you enjoy role-playing with weapon types and exploiting enemy weaknesses, this is for you. Skip if you prefer vanilla combat or don't want to bother with MWSE dependencies.
