About
This is something that I've made with existing footstep sounds already in the game. Took a couple of minutes in Audacity.
The vanilla footstep sounds sound as if you were walking on a stone floor. That's why I tried making it resemble the same thing as best as possible.
Not exactly the most world-moving mod out there but might as well share it.

On the left side, you've got the vanilla sounds and on the right side, my homemade ones.
Noise has been filtered out and they've been normalized to blend in nicely with the rest of the vanilla sounds.
If you think they're too loud or too quiet, let me know and I'll adjust them.
Note: I didn't know how to show you so I just did it like this. Since I don't have any video-editing software. lol
Installation
Feel free to use NMM or to install manually. They're just 3 . WAV sound files.
Uninstallation
You should be able to uninstall with NMM as well. If you're going to install manually and then uninstall manually, you need to back up either the original 3 sound files or you can just install the Backup I'll upload with the original sound files. They're in the Optional Files tab.
Plot Twist
I've tried out several other Sound Replacers but none of them worked or you had to do some weird stuff. So, I spent a bit of time going through all of the sound files and eventually found the ones that needed editing. You can be sure that these work 100%.
