📋 About This Mod
Summary
Makes Ahnassi actually receive and equip the Flamemirror Robe that she can be given at one point during her questline.
In the vanilla version of the quest, the robe just vanishes.
Rationale
The quest dialogue makes giving the robe to Ahnassi sound like a big deal, and she seems enamoured by it. It's odd that she doesn't actually get it.
This mod makes the choice of giving the robe or not have a little more visible consequences.
It also makes Ahnassi's dialogue line offering the player "the robe from her back" a little more fitting. You still can't actually ask for the robe.
In the vanilla game, there are two Flamemirror Robes that can be received from quests, and both of those quests are related to romance. Now, if you do them both, you can wear matching robes with Ahnassi!
Files
There are two files in this archive, "ahnassi-flamemirror-robe" and "ahnassi-flamemirror-robe-post".
Use "ahnassi-flamemirror-robe" if your game state is before completing Ahnassi's Flamemirror Robe quest. It modifies Ahnassi's dialogue when handing in the quest to get and equip the robe.
Use "ahnassi-flamemirror-robe-post" if your game state is after completing the quest. When the game is loaded, it will check that the requirements are fulfilled, and give Ahnassi the robe if she doesn't already have it.
Compatibility
"ahnassi-flamemirror-robe" inserts replacement dialogue in the "share a gift" topic for Ahnassi, after the option to give her the robe is chosen. It should be compatible with everything that doesn't modify that particular place in her dialogue.
"ahnassi-flamemirror-robe-post" should be compatible with everything.
A small immersion fix for Morrowind that makes Ahnassi actually equip the Flamemirror Robe given to her during her questline. With 26 endorsements and 1,612 downloads, it's a niche mod for players who want quest rewards to be used by NPCs.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Tiny mod that fixes a real immersion break for quest completionists.
- Simple and focused—does exactly what it says without bloat.
- Decent download count (1,612) for such a niche fix.
⚠️ Cons
- Very low endorsement count (26) suggests it's not widely tested or popular.
- Only affects one NPC and one quest—skip if you want broader changes.
For Morrowind players who notice and care about NPCs actually using quest rewards. If you're a completionist who hates seeing Ahnassi ignore the robe you gave her, this is for you. Skip if you want gameplay overhauls or don't interact with Ahnassi's questline.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Place the mod files in your Morrowind Data Files folder and activate the .esp in the launcher.
- If you're using a mod manager like Wrye Mash or Mod Organizer 2, install it through that for easier management.
- Load order shouldn't matter much, but keep it with other immersion tweaks to avoid conflicts.
