Ahnassi Naturalized

Ahnassi's quest has long been one of my favorite questlines from the vanilla game. I once heard someone describe her quest as a vanilla quest, that feels like a modded quest, that feels like a vanilla quest, which is an excellent way to characterize it. My only problem with it these days is I that find I am waiting a very long time to do any of it, particularly in heavily modded playthroughs. With this mod I hope to remove some of the barriers to entry for low level characters, as well as rebalance some of the rewards from it.

• []Ahnassi will now give the gift of friendship to players regardless of their gender. The handful of dialogue entries that used 'he' have been changed to be gender neutral. The initial disposition check to start quest dialogue with Ahnassi has also been lowered, so most players will be able to begin the quest right away, unless they are particularly loathsome.

  []Hrordis will no longer automatically force the player out of dailogue, allowing the player to engage in vanilla dialogue topics with her more naturally. She has also been nerfed a bit to make the fight with her more reasonable for low level characters.

  []Daren Adryn is now found in Pelagiad itself. You will no longer have to trek all the way to Gnaar Mok just to really begin the quest.

  []The loot has been moved around between the upper and lower Redoran vaults. The lower vault (the one Ahnassi gives you a tip on the key for) has had its loot significantly reduced, but you'll still be able to make off with a few decent items as well as a good chunk of change.

  []If you give Ahnassi the Flamemirror Robe, she will actually wear it. She will give you only five ebony throwing stars instead of the vanilla twenty in exchange for it.

  []Once Ahnassi has given you the tip on Elvul's Black Blindfold, the Duke's Guards in the Imperial Commission will be disabled. This way you can actually roleplay sneaking into the castle though the underground caves, rather than having to just awkwardly walk right past the guards and pretend they are not there.

  In addition to the above changes, this mod also adds a small guest bedroom to the basement of Ahnassi's House. I always interpreted Ahnassi's quest to be more of a close friendship than a romance even though I know it was explicitly intended to be a romance. This guest bedroom will give you a better opportunity to roleplay as just a friend if you wish, giving you a space to call your own in Ahnassi's house.
