📋 About This Mod
Description:
'detect creature' shows nearby NPCs and creatures, highlighting hostile ones (however, only base disposition is considered, without the influence of player parameters).
'detect enchantment' displays both items with enchantments and chests/NPCs that contain them. The tooltip for the object will show the names of enchanted items.
'detect key' shows keys and containers/NPCs containing keys. The tooltip displays the key's name.
You can configure the detection range multiplier relative to the base spell range. I set it to 2 by default, as I think the game's range is too small.
If you set the range multiplier to 10, objects will be visible across the entire map - even in other locations.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Tight integration with Advanced World Map—if you already use that mod, this is a no-brainer.
- Recent update (July 2026) means it's likely compatible with current game versions.
- Small and focused—does exactly one thing without bloating your UI.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires the Advanced World Map mod—this addon is useless without it.
- Only 67 endorsements, so it's a niche tool for a niche audience.
For players who already use Advanced World Map and rely on detect spells for tracking objects. If you're a completionist or explorer who wants to see detected items on the map, this is for you. Skip if you don't use detect spells or don't have the base mod.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have the Advanced World Map mod installed first—this addon won't work without it.
- After installing, check your map settings for a toggle to enable detect spell tracking.
- If you're using a mod manager, let it handle the file placement to avoid conflicts.
