📋 About This Mod
Short
An improved version of the cave north west of Seyda Neen. Bugs removed. Details added. More treasure. More secrets. Still low level. Four quests. Speak with Eldafire. Enjoy!
More elaborate description
Addamasartus is a brilliant dungeon. It's my favourite even. It is the very first one you will probably encounter during the game. But it has room for improvements. What this mod adds:
- More details overall. Including Tamriel Data items.
- Fixed all placement errors - floating cups, bleeding items, caspers etc.
- Pathgrid is carefully adjusted. Every NPC can traverse any spot in the dungeon (both OpenMW and vanilla).
- The slave room didn't fit into the exterior. I placed the room deeper and created a small corridor leading to it. Otherwise, it sticks out from the surface of the meadow near Seyda Neen. Consequently, the slave room turned out to be a pit. And the only workable descent to the pit with the slaves I found was plank steps. They are traversable for NPCs on both engines.
- There are now small holes for underwater currents in the flooded areas.
- Added more flora and mushrooms around the place.
- There's a unique slaughterfish now waiting for you. It's a bit weaker than the regular ones of its size for balance. But it has unique loot.
- The descends leading to the main storage room make it easier now for smugglers to haul their cargo. There's a small crane now and a wooden ramp in place of a ramshackle ladder.
- The dungeon provides 3 encounters divided by time - revisit the place every now and then to find new content inside.
- If you start one of the Addamasartus quests but take too long before completing it, the mod will "punish" the player in an interesting way.
- I encourage you to break the rules of simple dungeon-delving in this mod. The enemies have dialogue if you manage to make them speak to you.
- Technically, the mod has 8 quests in and around Addamasartus. But they're mutually exclusive in some cases.
- Please, report any bug you find to me - I am eager to fix them.
Technical details:
- It modifies Addamasartus interior cell.
- In the main version of the mod (with quests), it adds personal scripts to all NPCs inside the dungeon.
- It adds dialogue entries to Sellus Gravius, Eldafire, Elone, commoners and guards in Seyda Neen, and all Tribunal and Imperial Cult faction members. But it doesn't modify these NPCs, so its compatible with everything.
Secrets (spoilers):
- There is a notebook with valuable information hidden under the hammock pillow that you can sell to Sellus Gravius.
- If you kill Melar Baram, calm the female smugglers, and improve their disposition to 60, they will surrender and ask you to bring them to Seyda Neen authorities. Note that it's not easy (they may start fighting each

- If you're using OpenMW, this mod should work fine, but always check the mod's comments for any reported issues.
