📋 About This Mod
20 new books featuring the work of H. P. Lovecraft, Lord Dunsany, the brothers Grimm, Lewis Carroll and many more. Check in with Dorisa Darvel, the bookseller in Balmora, for the lighter fare. Visit Jobasha, the rare book dealer located in the Vivec foreign quarter, for the meatier stuff.
Most of the books will improve your speechcraft skill. Some will increase other skills. A few will even hold enchantments. Hope you have fun with them!

📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Classic literature in-game adds a unique flavor for lore hounds.
- Two different vendors means you can hunt down the full set.
- Small but dedicated following (82 endorsements) — it's survived since 2008.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2008 — likely no patches for newer Morrowind versions or mods.
- No screenshots or detailed install instructions in the description.
- Only 20 books — might feel thin if you're a fast reader.
For Morrowind players who enjoy reading in-game books and want a bit of classic horror and fantasy. Also for collectors who like hunting down rare items from vendors. Skip if you want gameplay changes or visual overhauls — this is purely literary.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure to check both Dorisa in Balmora and Jobasha's rare book shop — they stock different selections.
- If you're using a mod manager, just drop the mod into your load order; it's a simple plugin.
- Books are leveled? Not sure, but check vendors after leveling up to see if new stock appears.
