Versatile Combo Lance

This mod was meant to introduce more variety to movement & combo options to give lance a whole new degree of freedom in playstyle. You may not make use of all of the changes, and that's totally okay; the freedom to experiment is yours!

General changes:

- No mount damage

- MVs adjusted (for the better)

- guard recoil reduced

- charge dash modified:

- Speed: 0. 7x, 1. 2x, 1. 5x

- Power: 1x, 1. 1x, 1. 3x

- Charge time: 1s each

- guard up on power guard -> 0. 25s

- Removed sharpness loss on most multihits

- Sweep moves do 1. 5x partbreak

Combo changes:

Vanilla lance combos relegated to mid thrust (MVs equalized between mid & high)

(RT+Y+B) Out of any wide sweep -> Reverse wide sweep

Reverse sweep autocancels back to neutral

WS1 -> Shield Bash (Y or B)

WS2 ->

- (Y) Shield Bash

- (B) Full Counter Thrust

Shield bassh ->

- (Y) Mid Thrust 1

- (B) Full Counter Thrust

- (Y+B) Wide sweep 2

- (RT+Y+B) Twin finishing thrust

Full counter thrust ->

- (B) Leaping thrust

- (Y) Mid thrust 1

- (Y+B) Twin finishing thrust

- (RT+Y+B) Hop into charge dash

Try not to hold a direction otherwise might do guard dash

Cannot counter guard but can guard dash

(R2+B) after mid thrust 3 or wide sweep 3 -> power guard

(Y) after cancel thrust returns you to counter guard

Power guard ->

- (Y) Leaping thrust

- (B) Full counter thrust

- (RT+Y+B) Guard hop (note: this does not automatically lead into charge dash)

- Autocancels to neutral unless RT is held

Guard hop ->

- (Y) or (B) Jumping Thrust

- (Y+B) Charge dash

Hop into charge dash ->

- Do nothing: charge dash

- (Y) or (B): Advancing jump thrust

Guard slide (RT + →Y from neutral) ->

- (Y) Twin finishing thrust

- (A) Guard hop

- Do nothing: shorter guard hop

Charge dash ->

- (A) Instant stop

- (→ A) Charge dash hop ->

- (Y) or (B) Jumping thrust

- Autocancells into reverse sweep

New options from neutral:

- (RT + →Y) Guard slide

- (RT + B) Power guard

- (RT + back Y) Slide into charge dash

- (RT+Y+B) Hop into charge dash

Options while holding guard in place (must complete initial shield raise animation) ->

- (RT+Y+B) Hop into charge dash

• (RT+Y) Slide into charge dash (neutral Y, inputting a direction becomes guard dash)
