MaxDecorationLevel

Max Decoration Level Indicator is a great mod. But it's not compatible with the latest MHW version. Cirilla allows us to edit .gmd (text) files. But it still takes too much time to modify every decoration entry. This tool can modify all decoration entries with only one command.

This tool is based on Cirilla.

Usage:

Extract <MHW Folder>\chunk\chunk5.bin using WorldChunkTool.

All item .gmd files are in the new folder, chunk5\common\text\steam\item_<language>.gmd (for example: item_eng.gmd).

Drop a item .gmd file on MaxDecorationLevel.exe.

The new item .gmd file is item_<language>.gmd.mdl.

Copy the item_<language>.gmd.mdl to <MHW Folder>\nativePC\common\text\steam (Create the folder if it's missing).

Rename item_<language>.gmd.mdl to item_<language>.gmd

Advanced:

MaxDecorationLevel.exe is a command-line tool.

-o, --output=VALUE

The path of output .gmd file.

-s, --style=VALUE

The style of inserted max decoration level, like '%s <STYL MOJI_YELLOW_DEFAULT>(%d)</STYL>'. '%s' is a placeholder for the original decoration name. '%d' is a placeholder for the max decoration level. '<STYL MOJI_YELLOW_DEFAULT>text</STYL>' writes 'text' in yellow.

-v, --verbose

Show verbose information.
