Divine Blessing Secret Consistency

In unmodded Iceborne, Divine Blessing 4 gives:

25% chance to reduce damage by 60%

and DB5 gives:

40% chance to reduce damage by 60% (yes it's 40% not 50%, I found this out when going to make this mod)

so DB4 is effectively 15% damage reduction on average, and DB5 is effectively 24% damage reduction on average.

What this mod does is change those values such that the effective average damage reduction remains the same, while keeping the damage reduction proc at 50% reduction, and instead increasing the proc rate to compensate. So the new modded values are:

DB4: 30% chance to reduce damage by 50%

DB5: 48% chance to reduce damage by 50%

It kinda pains me to not make it 50% chance when I thought that's what I was getting beforehand anyway, but oh well. I'm not trying to buff the average damage reduction.

huge shout-outs to LordGregory/Synthlight for his MHW Editor tool found here without which I would be wholly incapable of making this mod.

as for installation, just place the file in the right place, same as any other mod. regular folder structure is included. this does require stracker's loader, and it's worth noting that this mod is incompatible with other mods that also edit your skills since they all change this one file. I'm hoping someone will make a tool that takes these mods and makes a patched file that consolidates them, because they're not really incompatible, they just all write to the same file. also this prolly goes without saying but this doesn't do shit if you don't have the iceborne DLC since you don't have access to DB secret.
