Archdemon Dash

Simple as you think it is - if you've played Rise or Wilds, you are well aware of the Dual Blades' ability to use Demon Dodge even when not in Demon Mode, so long as you have Archdemon. This mod simply backports that ability to World, though with a bit more jank, thanks to Fexty's XFsm.

Usage

Really easy, just fill up your Archdemon gauge, and so long as you are able to use Archdemon, you can Demon Dodge outside of demon mode in place of your regular roll. Like the later installments, the Demon Dodge is usable after most attacks - view the video section for a demonstration of that.

Currently, the Dodge doesn't consume any gauge, but given the drain rate coupled with how quickly Demon Flurry and Demon Flurry Rush can eat through it, I think that's okay - if I do figure out how to, given I'm just an amateur at this, I will likely add a version that consumes a bit of gauge every time you Demon Dodge with Archdemon.

Installation

1. Download the mod's .zip of course from the files section

2. Drag the .zip to World's local files - with Steam, you can click the settings cog on the right side when viewing the game in your library, then hover Manage and click Browse Local Files

3. Extract the .zip into that directory

4. To uninstall, just locate the respective files and delete them

5. Or you could skip this whole process and use a mod manager

Incompatibilities

As this mod directly edits the FSM file for the Dual Blades, it is, by default, incompatible with other mods that also edit the FSM file, such as Jipus' Levi Dual Blades.

Now, depending on the mod, it wouldn't take too long to edit those FSMs to include Archdemon Dodge, and I may upload some compatible files, later, but some mods are much more complex in their FSM edits and would take longer to do - as such, just be aware that if you're running one of those DB moveset overhaul mods, this mod by default isn't compatible.

Multiplayer Compatibility

As with all mods of this kind, avoid using it in public/open lobbies, stick to using it with friends or people who are otherwise okay with it

This mod is otherwise untested for multiplayer, and although it should work fine, especially if everyone involved installs it, be wary of potential desyncs
