PALICO COMPANION PLUS

The game's Palico wanders, waits and gets sent to camp online. This one reads the fight, plays a role you pick, and stays with you.

PICK A ROLE

• []Fang warrior, hardest melee. Bulwark tank, taunts early. Volley ranger, boomerangs and traps.[/]

  []Mender medic, Vigorwasp and songs. Snare trapper, flashes and paralysis. Drifter all-round, the default.[/]

  []Mascot just comes along, changes nothing. Own Mind is the game's own Palico, kept by your side. Custom: every number yours.[/]

  []No role is stronger - what one gains it pays back elsewhere. Or give each weapon its own role: it swaps when you swap.[/]

  IN THE FIGHT

  • []It never stalls. The next move starts as the last one ends, and it closes in when the monster is in reach.[/]

    []It piles on when the monster is held - trap, paralysis, knockdown or wall, yours or anyone's.[/]

    []It aims: open wounds first, then the parts your team hits hardest.[/]

    []It learns which throws land, and from how far.[/]

    []It follows you out. Sheathe and walk away, and it comes along.[/]

    TOOLS

    • []Nothing to equip. Every Palico has every move it has unlocked; the mod knows each one's cooldown and never wastes one early.[/]

      []Vigorwasp Delivery heals you the moment the whole heal fits - chip damage included - or at once when you drop low. The menu shows when it is ready.[/]

      []Songs from the first seconds of the fight, while you are close enough to hear them.[/]

      []It covers you while you drink, and a hunter about to cart comes first.[/]

      []It reads your weapon. Hammer: paralysis and flashes. Bow: Provoke. Hunting Horn: no songs of its own.[/]

      ONLINE

      • []Always with you. With 3-4 hunters the game sends every Palico to camp. Yours stays and fights.[/]

        []Support hunters' Palicos: back to camp, with them, or with them and invisible to everyone else.[/]

        []Hide yours from the others, partly or fully. You always see it.[/]

        CONTROL

        • []Stats you set: melee, ranged, element, defence. 1. 0 is vanilla; Restore vanilla stats puts it back.[/]

          []Never draw the monster: one switch, and even the game's own Provoke is stepped out of. Two optional keys: call it back, next role.[/]

          []Voice: lines and pitch, changed live with a preview.[/]

          SETUP

          • []Needs REFramework, nothing else. Copy reframework next to MonsterHunterWilds.exe, or use Fluffy Mod Manager.[/]

            []Nothing written to your save, no game file replaced. Every control explains itself on hover, and says when it cannot work on your version.[/]

            • []Team Damage Meter Who carried the hunt: damage, heals, carts and the monster's state, live - on screen or on your second monitor.[/]
