NPC and Hunter Preset WebUI Helper (FBS and Ver. R with Physics)

Description

TLDR:

A helpful tool to create Ver. R body compatible vanilla plus (or not so vanilla) Version R. presets. Custom presets have been tested to work with physics. Accessory workarounds for NPCs are included in the tool but they are dead and DO NOT WORK, more on why below.

The Full Shebang:

After much faffing around and experimenting for the perfect character customization mod setup, it became super obvious that the Version R. mods along with Female Body Sliders are the best and most feature complete mods around - particularly for NPCs Alma and Gemma.

For noobies trying to set and forget, Ver. R is basically the only mod that can adjust outfits in various combinations AND improve physics (or crank it up to the max if that's your jam) in a single, easy to install, all in one package. Sounds great, right? That's cause it is.

HOWEVER, while big booba obviously has its own perks (pun intended), I personally find Ver. R sized bazongas rather immersion breaking even with the provided slim preset, which is the least explosive of the bunch (Ver. R ships with 3 working presets).

My own end goal and personal use case was to enable vanilla plus customization of key NPCs with Ver. R's excellent built in options while bridging the gap between straight vanilla and comical diddies. Initially I shopped around with many other FBS presets that others have shared but found that outside of the 3 provided stock with Ver. R, none of them worked with Ver. R's better physics (or any at all).

Theoretically, making adjustments with FBS is fairly simple, but to the uninitiated (ME), a huge list of body parts and a bunch of numbers might as well have been hieroglyphics. Add to that the finicky and easy to break physics when scale of adjusted anatomy is off and you have a recipe for a headache.

All that being said, I vibe coded a utility that should hopefully make that a lot easier and intuitive for people who either want to tweak existing presets or create new ones to match their preferred experience. As a bonus, it comes with a bunch of custom presets of varying shapes and sizes. Of course, since I don't really know what I'm doing, your mileage may vary lol.

Lowdown On Accessories

For accessories, I spent a few hours trying to do workarounds through FBS but they don't do anything. AFAIK, the reason is because the Ver. R items are shaped around the default Ver. R body baked in as static mesh. Hence, please ignore any and all accessory related portions of the tool as they DO NOT WORK.  Unless I can be bothered to learn how to use blender etc. (I am not as of now), some other fixes are the way. For Alma's hair without jacket, you can try downloading the Vanilla Jiggle Improvement AIO mod and extracting only the hair fix (haven't tested this yet). As for the book, the version R. mod has a built in option to disable it. Gemma seems less affected.

Installation instructions

Ensure Required Ver. R and FBS mods + basics like reframework are installed. 

1. Install node.js if not already 

2. Download zip file and extract into a new folder.

3. Rename the launchWebUI.txt to launchWebUI.bat (changed to enable nexus downloads).

4. Double click the launchWebUI.bat and wait for install to complete and webUI to launch.

5. Enjoy the preset helper! Tips and general instructions should be obvious throughout the UI.

6. Once custom presets are downloaded (via button or copy and paste into new json file), place them in the preset reframework/data/character of choice/Presets folder.

7. Simply close the terminal window to end the server instance when done.
