LobbyQuestNotifier

New lobby quests as compact in-game cards — with filters, live updates, sound, and hold actions

LobbyQuestNotifier periodically searches the quests posted in your current Monster Hunter Wilds lobby and displays eligible new quests at the upper right.

You no longer need to keep opening the quest counter. Newly posted quests appear as compact cards with the information needed to decide whether to join.

Features

  • []Display 1–10 fixed-width notification cards (default: 4)[/]

[]Detailed, Compact, or First Detailed / Later Compact presentation (default: First Detailed / Later Compact)[/]

[]Localized quest rank, quest type, quest name, field, day/night, environment, and target condition[/]

[]Up to five large- or small-monster target icons, including Frenzy, Tempered, and Arch-Tempered presentation[/]

[]Investigation strength and up to ten additional-reward slots[/]

[]Not departed before departure, or live elapsed/limit time such as 01:02/50:00 after departure[/]

[]Participant weapon slots with HR overlaid on the icon; HR100–499 uses a cyan contour glow, HR500–998 purple, and HR999 red[/]

[]Filters for quest rank, free slots, target count, password, approval, host HR, monsters, fields, and host weapons[/]

[]Only quests with a free slot that pass the game's own participation check are displayed[/]

[]Displayed cards update in place after successful searches without resetting their timers or replaying their sounds; quests that fill, disappear, or become unavailable are removed[/]

[]Optional notification sound with 0–100% volume; played once for each new card and not replayed after menu recovery or information-only updates[/]

[]Automatically pauses lobby searching in Solo Online, Offline, and the main menu, then refreshes after returning to an online lobby[/]

[]Configurable position, scale, background opacity, display duration, display mode, maximum card count, and search interval[/]

Join or dismiss from the card

Hold confirm on the top card to search that exact quest session again, revalidate it, and open the game's standard quest information / participation screen. This does not automatically accept the quest or depart.

Hold cancel to dismiss only the top card. The action guide uses the current mouse/controller input, and controller glyphs follow the game's Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo-style button-display setting. Join and dismiss hold times can be configured separately. Controller actions remain available while the REFramework UI is open; mouse and keyboard card actions are blocked there to prevent accidental input.

Monitoring behavior

When you first enter a lobby or return from a quest, the MOD displays the latest eligible quests from the first successful search result, up to your configured maximum card count (1–10, default: 4). A failed search retries after five seconds; normal monitoring then continues at the configured interval (5–120 seconds, default: 30).

Cards are hidden and search/display timers pause during quests, loading, and menus or facilities that block normal control. Departed quest time continues on real time and is recalculated when the card becomes visible again.

Solo Online, Offline, and main-menu states stop both scheduled searches and card-participation refresh searches before the native network request is started. Stale lobby cards are cleared once, and the latest eligible cards are rebuilt from the first successful search after returning to an online lobby.

The base card duration is configurable from 0–300 seconds (default: 60); 0 disables automatic expiration. Cards first placed in later slots receive a small duration bonus so they are not lost before reaching the top.
