Persistent startup display settings helper for DLSS Enabler by Artur07305

What this mod is

This is a REFramework Lua script for Monster Hunter Wilds made for players using DLSS Enabler, especially:

• []Any GPU

  []Anyone using DLSS Enabler to expose extra rendering features/options that the game normally would not allow on their hardware

  When DLSS Enabler is in use, Monster Hunter Wilds may treat the system as if it is running on different hardware on every boot. Because of that, the game can trigger a hardware change / settings reset flow every time it starts, forcing display settings back to defaults and showing the startup warning popup.

  This script exists to work around that behavior.

  Important: this is not a true bypass of the game's hardware change detection.

  Instead, it is a practical persistence workaround:

  • []the hardware-reset popup is suppressed/autocompleted

    []the game still performs its internal hardware-reset logic in the background

    []the script then reapplies the settings you selected and saved

    []those settings can be restored automatically on every startup

    Heads up: this does not restore 100% of the game's settings.

    At this stage, this early version is limited to the options exposed by the script itself. If a setting is not present in this script, it should be assumed that it will not be restored automatically after the reset.

    Graphics Preset support has now been added, so you can choose between the game's built-in preset tiers and have that runtime preset applied first, before the rest of this script's display settings are layered on top.

    However: this still does not mean the entire graphics menu can be cherry-picked option by option.

    For now, the graphics side is limited to:
