Tired of Capcom thinking they know better than you when it comes to which keybinds do and don't conflict? Are you fine making mistakes and fixing them yourself? Keybind Deblocker will enable you to do just that!

This mod has been tested extensively by me, and I have not personally run into any issues. Still, broader use can reveal edge cases. Because the mod writes to the game’s saved keyboard-configuration data, back up your saves before using it just in case. Please report any issues you encounter.

Primary features:

• []Bypasses all prevention mechanisms that would keep you from assigning a duplicate key to an action, or removing a bind entirely.[/]

  []Works for all keybind profiles, including weapon-specific ones.[/]

  []Backs up your keybinds on first launch as a safety measure out of an abundance of caution.[/]

  []Allows multiple keybind backups to be created/restored.[/]

INSTALLATION

PREREQUISITES:

• []REFramework[/]

  []A legally acquired copy of Monster Hunter Wilds[/]

  []Ability to read[/]

Install via Vortex or a mod manager of your choice.

OPTION B:

• []Download the file manually here, or via Git Hub[/]

  []Unzip it into your game root folder, the one that contains MonsterHunterWilds.exe[/]

CONFIGURATION

Configure using the REFramework UI (Insert key by default).

• []Expand the Script Generated UI header at the bottom.[/]

  []Expand "Keybind Deblocker".[/]

  []Toggle the mod on/off and manage backups from this UI.[/]

KNOWN LIMITATIONS/ISSUES

• []The mod is for KB+M users only. It does not help with controller rebinding.[/]

  []The red ! remains on keys the game considers invalid. I might expose a setting to hide these later, but I consider it a helpful feature.[/]
