Goocoo Palico armor and weapon

This mod replaces the Yian Kut Ku Palico armor and Lala Barina weapon with the Goocoo set from MH Frontier.

Please note there are some issues with long-haired palicoes where the palico's face is visible during some cutscenes animations.

Installation

Drop the .pak file in your Fluffy Mod Manager directory and enable it. Or drop the .pak file in the game's directory if you don't like mod managers.

Install the .pak version if you don't want to change the base equipment used by the mod. Install the non pak version if you want it on another Palico armor, but you need to manually repak your files because textures can't work without paks

Follow these steps if you want to change the base armor/weapon

First, download the optional non pak .zip. Textures need to be compressed into .pak for them to work.

Start by understanding how the path should look for Palico equipment:

natives/STM/Art/Model/Character/Ch05/xxx/yyyy

xxx is the "amor series" ID. yyyy indicates if it is a head piece, waist piece or armor. Head is 1000, Waist is 0000, Weapon is 2000.

Kut Ku head piece is natives/STM/Art/Model/Character/Ch05/009/1000.

If you want to change the base equipment you have to rename the .mesh and .mdf file, as well as the folders.

So if you want to replace Hirabami's waist piece the path should be:

natives/STM/Art/Model/Character/Ch05/024/0000, with the mesh and mdf renamed with 024_0000

When you are done drag your natives folder in ree-pak and install it like any other mod.
