This is a BGM replacer for Lagiacrus

Sadly I cant even show you a sample of the mod in action with gameplay due to copyright issues with youtube but you can still listen to the music I used through the link above^

Make sure to have the latest REFramework installed and enable 'loosefile loader'.

To install simply unzip the file and extract the 'natives' folder into the directory of where your game executable is located.

(File path should look something like 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MonsterHunterWilds') <-- put 'natives' folder in there.

Wilds already has a great soundtrack and replacing some of them almost seems downright heretical but this is for those who've been playing for a while now and wants fresh coat of paint. This is part of an ongoing project to overhaul the entire games music. (Inspired by the nier mod from MH World)

I will be releasing each monster and area themes individually for trouble shooting purposes. The plan is to combine them all into one once everything is done.

When modding and choosing music I always make sure to consider these things:

- Music should be bearable to listen to for a long time without getting old

- Should 'fit' the monster

- Music should feel like it naturally belongs and shouldnt be immersion breaking

- Must be epic af

BGM is personally edited to loop perfectly and contains chase music and outro music.

Unfortunately due to the way the devs structured the audio files, audio mods with looping data are technically incompatible with each other. You can have music from 2 different mods playing but only one of them will loop as intended since all the games music share the same loop data file that modders use. This is partly why im trying to make an all in one BGM mod later down the line that combines everything nicely.
