The original mod (CharmsBestSlotsOnly-1. 0. 0) changed a table that the game uses to validate charms. It effectively makes charms without the best slots appear invalid. I didn't realize that Capcom would let us change the validation parameters.
I added a new file that may help with this issue.
The new file does not remove the other slot possibilities, so all of your old charms will be valid again.
It increases the chance of getting 3 slots on Rarity 8 charms from 16. 7% to 75%.
You have a 12. 5% chance of getting 1 slot and a 12. 5% chance of getting 2 slots.
Updated again:
I increased the chances of getting the best slots on Rarity 5, 6 and 7 also.
Changed odds from 25% to 50% of getting the best slots.
Rarity 7 50% to get 1 level 2 slot, except for one scenario that allows 1 level 3 slot.
Rarity 6 50% get 1 level 2 slot and 1 level 1 slot.
Rarity 5 50% get 1 level 3 slot.
CharmsBestSlotsOnly
This mod changes the drop rate for the slots on each of the charm rarities, only allowing the 'best' possible slots combinations to appear.
This does not give you slot combinations that wouldn't normally get from charm drops, it just forces the best possible combinations for each rarity of charm.
Rarity 8 will always get 3 level 1 slots, the first one is always a weapon skill slot.
Rarity 7 will always get 1 level 2 slot, except for one scenario that allows 1 level 3 slot.
Rarity 6 will always get 1 level 2 slot and 1 level 1 slot.
Rarity 5 will always get 1 level 3 slot.
