Installation:

• []Install REFramework

  []Extract the natives directory from the zip into your MonsterHunterWilds installation directory (to find this, right-click on the game in your Steam library and select Manage, then Browse Local Files).

  []Launch the game

  []Open the REFramework in-game menu by pressing Insert on your keyboard.

  []Expand the LooseFileLoader section and ensure that Enable Loose File Loader is enabled.

    How to Make your Own Sound Replacement Mod:

    • []Extract the game's re_chunk_000.pak using REtool

      []Use FusionTools' Wwise Editor to open your desired sbnk file. (These are located via the following path: re_chunk_000\natives\STM\Sound\Wwise)

      []Preview the sounds in the Wwise Editor to find the sound you want to replace.

      []Once you find it, take note of it's ID and right-click the sound and select Export Wem to Wav.

      []Replace the exported wav file with your desired sound.

      []Convert your replaced sound back to WEM using Automated WAV > WEM conversation by FluffyQuack.

      []Open RingingBloom and set the Mode to None.

      []Click the BNK Editor button.

      []Click Import BNK.

      []Open the sbnk file you opened in step 2.

      []Expand the Data Index entry in the left pane.

      []Step through each child item until you find the item that has the ID matching the ID you noted in step 4.

      []Right click the child item and located the WEM file you created in step 6.

      []Click Export BNK.

      []Export the BNK somewhere and then place a copy into your MonsterHunterWilds installation directory (to find this, right-click on the game in your Steam library and select Manage, then Browse Local Files), ensuring you follow the same directory structure as seen in step 2, i.e. if you made a change to natives\STM\Sound\Wwise\human_common_effect.sbnk. 1. X64, your exported BNK should be placed in <MonsterHunterWilds Directory>\natives\STM\Sound\Wwise\.

    • Load the game and (hopefully) enjoy your new sound in-game!
