Bring your armors and weapons to life by attaching and customizing any in-game visual effect to your character!

Tired of static armors? Want your Greatsword to permanently drip with abyssal flames, or your helmet to trail lightning only when you dodge? Armor VFX Manager gives you the ultimate sandbox to create, trigger, and share custom VFX setups.

Everything is configurable entirely in-game through the intuitive REFramework UI. You can tweak position offsets, colors, scales, and rotation in real-time without ever needing to restart the game. So much wow!!

## ✨ Key Features

🎯 Attach Anywhere

Target specific character bones or joints (Spine, Hands, Custom Physics chains, etc.) to place effects exactly where you want them. Attach a glowing halo to your head bone, or roaring flames to your weapon joints!

⚔️ Action & Combat Triggers

Don't want an effect playing all the time? Bind effects to trigger only during specific attacks, when your weapon is unsheathed, or during locomotion (like evade rolling).

🧠 Combo Sequences

Set up Strict Action Sequences so an effect only fires when a player completes a specific combo string! Reward your biggest hits with the biggest explosions.

🎨 Complete Real-Time Control

Full XYZ Offset, Rotation, and Scale controls right in the UI. Instantly see your changes update on your character.

🌈 Custom Colors

Override the default VFX colors with your own custom RGBA values. Turn standard red fire into cursed purple flames!

⏱️ Kill Timers & Spawn Delays

Forcefully fade and destroy effects early before their natural end time, or delay their spawn so they hit perfectly on the climax of an animation.

Built-in debugger! Turn on the logger, perform a move in-game, and watch the exact internal Action ID pop up in the UI. Copy it with one click and paste it into your triggers.

Keep your workspace clean with custom Groups and Sub-Groups. Easily distribute and install custom VFX packs made by other hunters... wow!

## 🛠️ Requirements & Filtering

Want an effect to only show up when wearing a specific armor piece or wielding a certain weapon? You can define Armor Requirements and Weapon Requirements per effect. If you take the armor off, the effect disappears!

## 📁 Directory Structure & Creating Presets

If you're creating a custom effect pack to share with the community, you just need to bundle your `.json` preset files in the Armor VFX Manager folder! The script automatically scans all folders within the data directory for `.json` configs to load.

Here is the basic directory structure:

Tip for Creators: You can have as many folders and `.json` files in the `Armor VFX Manager` directory as you want! Players can easily install your mod by simply dropping your folder into their data directory.

## 🚀 Getting Started

1. Install REFramework.

2. Drop the `ArmorEffectActions.lua` file into your `reframework/autorun` folder.

3. Launch the game, open the REFramework window (usually `Insert` key), and expand Armor VFX Manager.

4. Click Add New Effect and start experimenting!
