No gliding. Free flight.

Disables gliding and allows free flight.

During flight, press E on keyboard to ascend.

On gamepad, use the B button (melee attack).

You can select which gamepad button will be used for ascending in the mod’s UI. Make sure this button does not conflict with other buttons used during flight.

Tested with Xbox gamepad and Steam Deck at the time of release.

While hovering in place, ascending is not possible. This was done to fix an issue from the previous version where releasing the monster into free fall would cause it to stop falling and eventually teleport downward.

This issue is now resolved, and the monster falls naturally. However, as a result, ascending while hovering in place is no longer available.

The ascent speed can be adjusted in the mod’s UI settings. At higher speeds, the character’s animation may behave incorrectly, but it will return to normal once you stop.

    • []Added the ability to accelerate during flight by pressing the Shift button or left stick, stopping or pressing again cancels the acceleration.

      []In the mod's UI you can adjust the acceleration speed, the default acceleration is 1. 6, you can also enable the option for constant acceleration without pressing a button.

    • Mod settings are now saved. reframework\data\free_flight_settings.json is the path to the file with the saved mod settings.
