ReShade Crash Fix for Monster Hunter Rise

Update: Use REFramework instead to fix the ReShade crash problem!

For some reason, using ReShade normally with Monster Hunter: Rise (having a dxgi.dll file in the game directory) seems to crash it after a hunt or two.

Because of this, the game has become unplayable if you try to use ReShade.

However, I found this method in Monster Hunter World to inject ReShade via a different method to prevent this crash, and I'm happy to say it worked perfectly for me. It worked for me both online and offline for at least 6 hours and had 0 crashes.

I wanted to share this with the rest of the community so everyone could play with enhanced graphics.

Installation/Usage:

• []Remove existing "dxgi.dll" and "d3d11.dll" from your MHRise folder

  []Extract zip folder contents somewhere (preferably not the MHRise folder)

  []Run "click this before launching MHR.bat"

  []Launch MHR

  Don't trust the files?

  It makes perfect sense to not trust any old .exe file from a random person on the Internet.

  Because of this, feel free to download inject64.exe for yourself from the official ReShade site: https://reshade.me/downloads/inject64.exe.

  Uninstallation:

  • Delete "click this before launching MHR.bat", "inject64.exe", and "ReShade64.dll".
