What is the "Skimplified" armor series?

The Skimplified Armor Series is a collection of mods which aim to add nudity to Monster Hunter World.

The goal of the series is to make most armors compatible with the Ultra Highpoly Nude Mod (UHPN). In order to accomplish this goal, the amount of work done per armor will be kept to a "high-effort minimum". This does not mean that the mods are shoddily put together within the span of a couple of hours. Instead, the mods consist of small adjustments, in particular, the moving, removal and modification of already existing parts (admittedly mostly removing). The effort put into these adjustments, however, is best described not as "Good enough", but rather "It's presentable".

Who is the author?

The honest answer? Someone inexperienced. With no previous blender knowledge, my goal is to learn as I go. 3D-modelling has always been something I've wanted to do, but something that I'd never quite gotten a grip on. I aim to learn from my experiences, and as of right now, this passion project of mine is all the experience I have.

What does this mod do?

This mod replaces the model of the Jagras+ armor (alpha, beta, and layered) in order to add nudity to the game. The parts affected by this mod are the chest, the waist, and the legs.

How do I install this mod?

Locate the Monster Hunter World folder on your PC. If you do not know how to find this folder, you can right click the app in Steam, go to Manage, and click "Browse Local Files" (See image below). This will open the folder for you.

First, you must download Kumakichisun's Ultra Highpoly Nude Mod. Once it is downloaded, place it in the Monster Hunter World folder so that the folder "nativePC" is in the same folder as the MonsterHunterWorld.exe. If you are experienced with installing mods, do note that you only need the textures from this mod, so you do not need to include any of the pl###_#### folders.

Lastly, download this mod, and once again place it in the Monster Hunter World folder. If everything worked, you will see the mod in effect when equipping the Jagras+ armor.
