Armor displaying different textures depending on durability is currently not supported in vanilla, requiring the use of such mods for this feature. This pack is compatible with my (https://modrinth.com/resourcepack/consistent-helmets) resource pack, which adjusts the Helmet item textures to be consistent with their models.
