### Dependencies:
This resourcepack requires additional mods which would allow textures to glow and connect. There are a few options: - Vanilla and Forge: Requires (https://optifine.net/downloads)** - Fabric: Requires (https://modrinth.com/mod/continuity)** - NeoForge: Requires (https://modrinth.com/mod/continuity)** and (https://modrinth.com/mod/connector)** ### IMPORTANT: Note that if you're playing with Continuity and Sodium 0. 5. X and lower, you'll also need to add (https://modrinth.com/mod/indium). It's not needed for 0. 6+ versions though.
This pack makes all the ores ( including raw ore blocks and ancient debris ) glow. There are 2 different versions of it, which names and versions are different:
- Default version ( only ores glow )
- Border Version ( borders and ores glow )
### Mod Support: If you use Border version, you need Conitnuity, it won't work with Optifine!

New Glowing Ores is a resource pack that makes all ores, including raw ore blocks and ancient debris, emit light. It offers two versions: Default (ores only) and Border (borders and ores glow). Requires OptiFine for Vanilla/Forge, or Continuity for Fabric/NeoForge, with additional mods for certain setups. Supports several popular mods.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge popularity with 3,398 endorsements and 7.0M downloads, indicating a well-loved mod.
- Two distinct versions let you choose between subtle ore glow or a more pronounced border effect.
- Active support for multiple mods, including Create and Mekanism, expanding its usefulness.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires specific dependencies (OptiFine or Continuity) which may conflict with other mods or performance.
- Border version only works with Continuity, not OptiFine, limiting options for some users.
- Mekanism support is only in the Default version, not Border, so mod users may need to switch versions.
This is for Minecraft players who want to easily spot ores while mining, especially in dark caves or with shaders. It's also great for modded players using Create or Mekanism who want consistent ore visibility. If you're a builder or prefer a vanilla look, this might not be for you.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're on Fabric, make sure to install Indium if you're using Sodium 0.5.X or lower, as noted in the description.
- For NeoForge, you'll need both Continuity and Connector mods to make the pack work.
- If you want the Border version, remember it requires Continuity and won't work with OptiFine.
