📋 About This Mod
Enchantcraft is a vanilla-friendly data pack for Minecraft: Java Edition 26. 1 and later that gives amethyst and lightning rods more uses and introduces new ways to manipulate enchantments. It allows players to disenchant items, split enchanted books, charge magical wands, and reset an item's prior work penalty—even when the item would normally be too expensive to modify in an anvil.
To install this pack, use the same ZIP file as both a data pack and a resource pack. Place one copy in your world’s `datapacks` folder, then either place another copy in Minecraft’s global `resourcepacks` folder and enable it in the Resource Packs menu, or rename it to `resources.zip` and place it in the world’s `resourcepacks` folder. Do not extract the ZIP file.

Fragile and Charged Wands — Amethyst-based magical tools used to perform Enchantcraft's advanced enchanting operations. This folder contains one JSON file for each supported language. You can find Minecraft's locale codes on the (https://minecraft.wiki/w/Language#Languages). 4. If a file for your locale already exists:

Duplicate `en_us.json`. Rename the copy to your locale code, such as `zh_cn.json`. Translate the text values without changing the translation keys. * Preserve JSON formatting, placeholders, formatting codes, item IDs, and other technical strings. 6. Check that the JSON file is valid and that no commas, quotation marks, or escape characters are missing. 7. Open `Source Control` in the sidebar. 8. Enter a concise commit message that mentions the locale code, such as `Add zh_cn translation` or `Update de_de translation`. 9. Click `Commit & Push`. 10. Return to your fork on GitHub, click `Contribute`, and then click `Open pull request`. 11. Use a clear pull request title, such as `Add zh_cn translation`, and briefly describe what you added or updated.
