Aeternum Seasons brings a cozy, Stardew Valley-style year cycle to vanilla Minecraft — without hurting your TPS.

Watch your world shift smoothly through Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Biome colors change naturally, snow covers the land in winter, and seasonal changes are distributed over time to avoid lag spikes.

## 🗺️ Adventure Dimensions

In addition to the seasonal overworld, you can unlock two optional adventure dimensions:

- ❄️ Frost Realm — accessed through a Glowstone portal. Face blizzards, frozen terrain, and icy variants of vanilla mobs that slow and freeze you.

- 🔥 Heat / Infernal Realm — accessed through a Nether Wart Block portal. Explore burning skies, dangerous terrain, and fiery mob variants that burn and hit harder.

Each realm has its own risks, atmosphere, and progression, turning your survival world into a small adventure RPG while remaining vanilla-friendly.

## ⚠️ Biome Painting & World Backups

Always keep a full backup of your world before using biome painting.

Aeternum Seasons stores its own biome backup so painted areas can be restored, but this only works as long as you do not delete the plugin or its data before the restoration is complete.

• `off` stops new biome painting.
• `on` enables biome painting again.
• `restore` restores the original biomes from the backup.

> When using `restore`, affected chunks must be loaded by walking or flying through the world. Restoration happens gradually.
