# 8bitMC Have you ever wondered how Minecraft would look like if the textures were 8x8 instead of 16x16? Well dont you worry! I **GOT** you, I made this 8 by 8 Texture Pack so **YOU** can enjoy 8bit minecraft. ## Why? Minecraft loads textures before you play, on slow devices this could take some time. This Texture Pack changes the textures too a nicer and lower resolution for faster load times and increased performance for lower end devices. ## Are mods required? No, this isnt a pack that requires optifine or any other mods to work. It's made for pure vanilla gaming! performance mods do a beter job at speeding up the game, but some have a hard time finding out how to install them. This Texture Pack gives a little kick without the need of a doesen tutorials ## High end pc? **Ofcourse!** You can always play with this Texture Pack on high end devices, it wont increase the performance as much, but it has a nice and smooth aesthetic for the game. It's cute, it's cartoony, it is just fun in a little package ## Recommendations from me Personally I can't go without this pack anymore, It just feels a bit different for once. I like this pack alot to play it with _Hypixel Skyblock_, It kinda really finishes the kind of imaginary/magical vibe. Disclaimer, this is all my opinion <details> <summary></summary> I am still working on improving this texture pack, currently this is version 1.2 on the Minecraft version 1.21.X. It can also perform well on game versions above, but the chance is that some textures aren't added yet. </details>
