# Shuffler (Block Shuffle Reimagined) I tried numerous of the other public block shuffle plugins before deciding none of them were particularly well balanced. You can even see this in the videos of big content creators playing block shuffle - no one wants to hunt down Mangrove Logs when they're far away from a swamp. Shuffler fixes this, while expanding on the game by adding crafting recipes, mob drops and considering items in your inventory. Every round, the engine performs a scan of a sample of chunks loaded near players. Proximity Scanning: The plugin indexes blocks within a playable radius of the players. Crafting Tree Analysis: It doesn't just look for blocks; it looks for potential. If you are standing in a forest, the game knows that Oak Log is available. It also calculates that Oak Planks, Stick, Crafting Table, and Wooden Pickaxe are now valid. Weighted Probability: The block pool is weighted. Common blocks nearby have a higher chance of appearing than rare blocks found deep in caves. Example: If you are in a Desert, you are highly likely to get Sand or Cactus. You will not get Lily Pad unless a Swamp is actually nearby.
