# OP GATE > A simple Velocity plugin that blocks players from joining unless they are approved through the console. ## 📦 Requirements - **Velocity** proxy plugin only — do not install on backend servers --- ## ⚡ How It Works Players must be manually approved via the Velocity console before they can join. Unapproved players are blocked until added. This plugin does **not** use Minecraft's built-in `/op` system — approval is managed entirely through OP Gate's own commands. --- ## 🛠 Commands All commands must be run in the **Velocity console**.
