Install (https://papermc.io/downloads/paper) or (https://purpurmc.org/downloads) for your Minecraft server. 2. Download the jar for your server version from (https://modrinth.com/plugin/invis-death-message). 3. Place the jar in the server's `plugins` directory. 4. Restart the server. > **Supported platforms:** Paper and Purpur for Minecraft 26.1–26.2. The plugin runs entirely server-side, so players do not need to install anything. ## Use 1. Start the server with Invis Death Message installed. 2. A player gains the Invisibility effect. 3. The invisible player kills another player directly or with a projectile. 4. The plugin replaces the killer's identity with an animated obfuscated name and removes the weapon and damage details. 5. When the killer is visible, the normal death message passes through unchanged. > **Tip:** Only an invisible player killer triggers the hidden message. ## See it in action
