Defcon

Defcon is a system which includes nuclear related weaponry and machines, as vanilla as possible. Originally this project started as a Paper only plugin, now it's expanding towards the mod platform.

It features realistic nuclear explosions, with realistic-ish dynamic destruction, radiation fallout, toxic wastes and fumes, and more is being developed!

### 📌 Note This plugin is currently in active development and is in its alpha stage, so you may encounter bugs or issues. If you experience any problems or have feedback, please join the official Discord; I’ll be happy to help and hear your thoughts to _improve_ the project!

☢️ Be sure to preload chunks or use huge pre-generated maps since nuclear bombs can slow down the server if chunks are not yet generated.

## ✅ Simple guide on installing the plugin.

The _only_ required dependency is (https://modrinth.com/plugin/packetevents). The following guide is slightly outdated and lists some _old_ dependencies, so ignore that part and download packetevents, the rest is the same.

The support for protection plugins is on the works!

When the server starts for the first time, it will automatically install the datapack, and a prompt will ask you to restart the server.

For sounds and gui effects, the plugin will automatically generate a resource pack in the server root, so take it and put it in the ResourcePack folder in your minecraft client.
