Custom Mob Heads

## CustomMobHeads **CustomMobHeads** is a highly configurable Paper plugin that lets mobs drop **their heads** (custom textured player heads) upon being killed. These can be used for decoration, as collectibles, or even as rare trophies for killing difficult bosses. --- ### Features - **Configurable, per-mob drop chances** Customize drop chances for each mob separately in easy-to-read config files - **Mob Variant support** This plugin differentiates between different mob variants, as follows: - **Temperate / Warm / Cold** Cows, Pigs, and Chickens - **Angry / Pollinated / Angry + Pollinated** Bees - **Charged / Normal** Creepers - **Villager Biomes + Professions** - **Tropical Fish** with 22 named special variants (others drop a generic Tropical Fish head, sorry, I ain't adding all 3,072 variants) - Easter egg mobs, like the **Toast Rabbit**, **jeb_ Sheep**, and **The Killer Bunny** - **Built-in command** Usage: `/gethead <player> <mob_id> ` - **Simple, fully customizable config** - `chance_config.yml`: Drop rates per mob or variant - `textures.yml`: Head texture base64 values - `translations.yml`: Display names for heads - `config.yml`: Global behavior (killer lore, default drop chance, force drop, etc.) - `sound_config.yml`: Includes sound overrides for mobs --- ### `config.yml` overview ```yaml # If true, all mobs will always drop their head (for testing purposes) force-drop-all: false # If true, dropped heads will have lore with the killer's name add-killer-lore: true # The fallback drop chance (percent) if a mob type is missing in chance_config.yml default-drop-chance: 50.0 ``` --- !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/2HPMFd4m/images/d83d17cc4c642e4ddb80f738881ee4249217da4b.png) --- ⚠️ **Note:** This plugin only supports vanilla mobs by default. Modded mobs will not drop heads unless manually configured — and may show as missing texture if no base64 is provided. **This has not been tested, so here be dragons!**
