_**Death Recovery**_ **A clean, configurable “death chest” plugin with virtual 54-slot GUI and hovering hologram timer.** --- **📦 Overview** > When a player dies, ChallengingDeathRecovery spawns a visual chest block and opens a virtual 54-slot inventory containing their items (with a configurable percentage lost to “trash”). Above the chest appears an invisible ArmorStand hologram, showing who died, by what cause, and how long ago. Once the player has fully emptied their chest, the GUI, hologram, and block automatically vanish—no clutter, no ghost chests. **⚙️ Features** - Virtual 54-slot chest GUI - Never worry about overflow or mismatched inventory sizes. - Configurable item loss - Define a percentage of items to trash on death (e.g. “20% lost”). - Hologram timer - Displays “✦ <player> died via <cause> <time ago>,” updating every 60 seconds. - Automatic cleanup - Chest block, hologram, and stored data vanish once emptied (or on server/plugin shutdown). - Safe interactions - Prevents block-breaking or damage to death chests and holograms. - Edge-case handling - Cleans up on GUI close, player disconnects, or plugin reload. **📖 Usage** - Death - On death, all drops are collected, a random X% are removed, and the rest are placed in a 54-slot GUI. - Interact - Right-click the spawned chest to open the GUI. - Retrieve - Take your items. When the GUI is empty, the chest block and hologram disappear.
