## 🔷 Features
BountySMP adds a bounty system to survival.
Players can take valuable items from their own inventory and put them on another player's head.
The player with the bounty has to survive. The longer they stay alive, the higher their stage gets and the stronger their effects become.
If another player kills them, the killer gets the bounty rewards, a Trophy Head, and the target's stage effects for 24 hours.
Most of the system can be managed through `/bounty`.
### Bounties
- Use real items from your inventory
- Multiple players can place bounties on the same target
- Only configured items can be used
- Bounty progress survives server restarts
- Minimum bounty amount can be configured
Wanted players gain stages over time.
Each stage can give different potion effects.
The stage times and effects can all be changed in `config.yml`.
### Rewards
When the target is killed:
- All bounty rewards go to the killer
- A Trophy Head is created
- The killer gets the target's current stage effects for 24 hours
- Rewards that don't fit can be claimed later
### Wanted Tracker
Higher-stage targets can get:
`☠ WANTED ☠`
The marker is a floating TextDisplay and has no hitbox.
Targets can also leave a particle trail. The marker and particles can change color depending on the stage.

## Bounty Creation
Players pay for bounties using items from their own inventory.
For example:
/bounty create Steve 32 diamond
The 32 diamonds are removed from the player's inventory and stored as the bounty.
The plugin checks the configured bounty rules before accepting it.
## Survival Stages
A player starts progressing through stages after receiving a bounty.
The default stages are:

These are only the default values. Everything can be changed in `config.yml`.
Stage progress uses stored timestamps, so restarting the server doesn't reset it.
## Killing a Target
When a wanted player is killed, the killer receives the bounty.
The killer also gets a Trophy Head containing information about the kill.
The target's current effects are given to the killer for 24 hours.
After the target dies, their bounty and stage progress are reset.
The `/bounty` GUI contains several menus:
