## 🎮 Controls

• Hold the configured mining key while breaking a block to activate Azmine
• Use Alt + scroll wheel to cycle through available mining patterns
• The selected pattern is displayed through the in-game HUD and block preview

Controls and available behavior can be adjusted through the mod configuration.

## ⛏️ Mining Patterns

Mines connected blocks matching the original block.

Ideal for ores, logs, dirt, stone, and other naturally connected groups.

Mines a vertical column extending from the selected block.

Useful for pillars, trees, shafts, and vertical structures.

Mines a straight horizontal line in the selected direction.

Useful for clearing rows or creating narrow paths.

### Small Tunnel

Mines a compact tunnel suitable for normal exploration and branch mining.

### Large Tunnel

Mines a larger tunnel for faster excavation and infrastructure projects.

Mines a structured square area based on the targeted surface.

Useful for clearing walls, floors, ceilings, and construction areas.

## 🌐 Universal Multiplayer Support

Azmine uses a loader-neutral protocol that allows supported client mods to communicate with either another Azmine mod or the Azmine Endpoint server plugin.

This means players can use the Forge, Fabric, or NeoForge client mod without requiring the server to use the same mod loader.

Azmine does not require every player to install the client mod when the server uses the endpoint plugin. Players without Azmine can connect and play normally.

## 🛡️ Server-Authoritative Mining

Mining is validated and executed by the server.

Every additional block is processed through the server’s player block-breaking system, preserving:

• Tool requirements
• Enchantment behavior
• Item drops
• Experience rewards
• Tool durability
• Creative-mode behavior
• Server protection checks

On Bukkit-based servers, protection and claim plugins that enforce their rules through `BlockBreakEvent` receive a separate authorization opportunity for every additional block. If a block break is denied, Azmine leaves that block untouched.

## 🎁 Drops and Experience

Azmine preserves its direct reward-delivery behavior while using the native server break process.

• Items produced by vein-mined blocks are moved into the player’s inventory
• Experience is added directly to the player
• Inventory overflow remains in the world
• Creative-mode breaks do not collect survival rewards
• Existing nearby items and experience are not collected
• Using the wrong tool produces no drops when vanilla would produce no drops

This preserves Azmine’s familiar gameplay while allowing the server to calculate reward
